CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS! FROM 23rd DEC – 3rd JANUARY 2009

The last karate lesson will be on Tuesday 23rd at Melbourne leisure centre, Try to get your lessons in before we break up. Start back to normal from Saturday 3rd of January 2009 at Donington village hall.

NEW CLUB 2009

Maximum Response Academy will be opening another karate club at Chellaston School on a Thursday night in January 2009 in the gym round the back of the school 6 – 7 juniors 7 – 8 Adults.  Please support it if you can.   This will be open to everybody please pass the word around MRKD is coming to Chellaston!!!! 

The Maximum Response Academy was founded to provide premier local, affordable, safe, comprehensive Self Defence and Fitness training for all ages. Karate/defence is a great pass time, it gets the kids off the street and into something worthwhile, and adults of all ages can enjoy it and keep fit.  If you know anybody who would like to try it, first lesson is free. We will get bigger and better next year with new clubs opening, so spread the word and encourage people to join the Maximum Response Academy family.       

BLACK BELT CLUB FRIDAYS REPTON 6.15 – 7.25

The Repton club is open to any grade, but it will be tailored towards the higher grades and those near to going for black belt.  We will cover partner work learning Kick blocks, Head blocks, Kihon Gumite, Ohyo Gumite, Black belt syllabus and higher katas.  If you’re a purple belt and above you should be thinking of training more than once a week now!!!!  So if you’re interested in this class try to attend at least twice a month and please feel free to speak to me about more information.

THIS WILL HELP AND BENEFIT ALL STUDENTS WISHING TO EVENTUALLY OBTAIN THEIR BLACK BELT

If you have any problems or question about the club etc, or how your son/daughter is progressing please don’t hesitate to speak to me no matter how little.  I would also like to maintain a good parent Instructor relationship, as our main aim is the same, the welfare and good progress of all the adult and junior students.
